  1. The 2021 News Really Bums Me Out / Buyer's Remorse

Yeah, the amount of raw material and semiconductor components alone is enough to disrupt damn near everything. We can only hope and honestly maybe it needs to get bad before they finally let others in to handle things properly, but I wish it wasn't that way.
  2. The 2021 News Really Bums Me Out / Buyer's Remorse

CCP and transparency don't belong in the same universe, let alone the same sentence. Also, their idea of containment is pretty much a sick joke and when you do contract the illness, they throw you into a lockbox on the back of a pickup truck (not an ambulance) and take you to a lockdown facility...
  3. Toyota GR Supra Races Into 2021 with More Power and First-Ever Four-Cylinder Turbo Model

it's all one sequence purposely to confuse, keep that in mind. And maybe not all of it is backwards? :D I'm not going to confirm or deny guesses either way...
  4. SupraMKV Interview with Tada-San on 2021 GR Supra

More about Toyota not doing anything lol
  5. SupraMKV Interview with Tada-San on 2021 GR Supra

I was asked to not discuss it further after getting the updated info, so I'll have to at least wait until some of it leaks elsewhere. Just like anything else, you remove those that made something awesome and it can go several different ways, one of which being badly lol
  6. SupraMKV Interview with Tada-San on 2021 GR Supra

I've held off on adding the latest I've heard, but yeah definitely made me focus on other things entirely...
  7. SupraMKV Interview with Tada-San on 2021 GR Supra

Same thing I've been hearing :/
  8. SupraMKV Interview with Tada-San on 2021 GR Supra

Awesome interview. I'm glad he threw Fukumoto in there as he is an awesome guy and is destined for greatness (he already worked on the Mark X GRMN and a few other neat cars prior to the A90).
  9. Officially ordered my A91 edition

I don't think they'd sell an A61 Edition for MSRP either; we'd have to go back 30+ years after all :)
  10. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

GR in general wasn't intended for the US market, but that changed and is about to become much more pronounced.
  11. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

    (severely broken record playing)
  12. Overweight?

The X had its good and bad points like anything, but it was still a decent car in manual IMO. I just disliked DCT, the added weight, and that it didn't have the 4G63. The Final Edition was the one to have though despite the weird no Recaro thing.
  13. Overweight?

yep, I had a V and it felt like a tin can. Awesome car though!
  14. 2021 Suspension Changes

I did actually laugh when Tada said those weren't necessary during the original press drive. Present on the Z4 and now the MY21 and yet weren't needed huh? :) Then again, I guess he wasn't lying as they aren't needed, but they're likely better than not having them lol. Jokes aside, I would...
  15. Toyota GR Supra Races Into 2021 with More Power and First-Ever Four-Cylinder Turbo Model

I could see it being a yearly offering, but it will very limited regardless due to price.
  16. Overweight?

The Evo 8 came at a time before modern safety systems were a thing, and it's magnitudes less rigid and composed of merely thin stamped sheet metal. So even with that iron block and AWD system it wasn't super hard to make lightweight. Don't get me wrong though, I love all Evos aside from the...
  17. Toyota Presents World Debut of the New 2022 GR 86

ahhh, my mistake then, as that is more or less correct in my understanding.
  18. Toyota Presents World Debut of the New 2022 GR 86

Your supposition of how the 2nd generation went down is entirely possible and IMO fairly likely given the interactions I've had. But the first generation was an entirely different situation and was absolutely started by and led by Toyota, and I've spoken to Tada at length about this process and...
