Well, GR Supra, GR Yaris, and GR Corolla are considered bespoke models very different from the regular variant if one exists. Same for GRMN cars that will use the former as a base for further tuning.
So, GR Supra would be GRMN Supra in higher trim.
GR Sport however is likely to remain an...
Same engine, manual, power output might actually be slightly more apparently (to compete with STI etc), and weight is unknown but expected to be more than the Yaris as it is a bigger car.
The GR Yaris AWD system is different from the system going into this new car, but both are based on TNGA...
Looks like the details are now leaking, so no point in keeping it secret.
GR Corolla will use the same exact engine as the GR Yaris but it will be adapted to the current TNGA AWD system being used in the Rav, Camry, etc
It should be coming around the same time as the Supra GRMN and apparently...
It won't have the TRD appointments standard afaik, but it will have the hatch spoiler, brakes, and same color. There may be an option to order it with the TRD pieces (not sure).
Apparently the drivetrain they wanted to use made nowhere near 400hp, so it would have likely been a V8 or V6TT for production.
But yeah, no idea what it would have looked like...
Access yes, but not for public consumption.
The FT-HS was slated to be the new Supra until the economy tanked. According to a few executives I've spoke with about this, it was already in development for production and would have been released sometime around 2011-2012 had the economy not failed. It was designed as 2+2, cockpit interior...

Possible whiteboard concepts :)
carbon panels (hood, roof, front fenders), adjustable motorsports suspension, different trans (either upgraded ZF8 or motorsport 7AT), tuned exhaust, aero, bigger brakes, 430-450hp, weight reduced to ~3000lbs.
Likely cost, ~80k USD
(As I said, many things in...
Doesn't matter as they are TNGA centric regardless; fully modular platforms.
Euro/JP Yaris is TNGA-B (3dr)
Corolla is TNGA (5dr)
The GR-C isn't just copy pasta of the GR-Y though, at least from what has been said. I recall you saying you prefer 3dr hatches and I think that is what you were...
Just depends on what you're working on and with who... I've been working on primarily L stuff and specifically attached to certain projects therein, so those are the ones I hear the most stuff about.
I also really only push for info on stuff I care about too, so... GR86 is cool, but there are...
GR86 isn't exactly that far into development, so not a lot of information is available—at least to me. I also have nothing to do with the team that's working on it (for now), so I don't know a lot.
But I will say that a few guys that work with me mentioned an engine around the 2L mark vs 2.5...
I truly don't think a manual is ever coming. People keep asking Tada about it like a broken record, and he then has to say, "well, we won't say it isn't going to happen" for PR reasons (when inside his head he is going, yeah 95% chance it isn't happening). You also can't ignore the BMW part of...
