I betcha this is all BMW. Toyota likes to act like they get to make all the calls on the Supra, but they didn't engineer it, it's not their parts supply and it's not built in their factory. If BMW has no interest in adding a manual to this motor for the Z4, it likely won't happen for the Supra...

Because it's a bullshit click bait article? That's not very nice Bryster ;) As has been pointed out, the video does not say the motor can handle 1000hp, and would also be BS if it did, but he aims to see if it can.
