I have been using toyo rr because I thought they were cheap but these are $400 less per set ...
I am going to run these as my next set of tires instead of the rr's see how they compare
First and last TT competition at Autoclub speedway
Dropped off the car at the shop to install all these parts, really looking forward to the car after this... will be at Chuckwalla next to test the new setup
So you are getting 420hp average on OEM tune/boost only? - what supporting mods?
My engine is stock only mods are race pipe/exhaust and I was only getting 385hp on stock tune/boost with/e25 - I need to use 20psi and e25 to get 430hp and stay cool enough on track
Those plastic fenders make a great spot to smash if you are into that - drive around with them removed and you get a nice trace on the hood underside for where to cutout the vents
I run my wing at max angle ... maybe it is slowing me down - my top odometer speed was 163 at autoclub I forgot to reduce the angle and see if I would go any faster but I have other tracks that I can experiment with acceleration did seem to slow down around 155...
@Todday1 - What setup are you...
I use the first few laps of the first session of the weekend to bed-in new brake pads/rotors, hard enough braking to just staying out of ABS in the braking zones
I abuse them to the point they have a nice glaze on the rotor when I get off track and then know they are ready to roll for the next...
My power is 435wheel with 3400 pound competition weight ... and yes full racecar - stripped interior, full cage, kwv3s, stoptech st60rs. csg c2 pads, front cusco swaybar ... rest of the suspension stuff is stock - so no spl stuff or anything like that yet
Super excited for the spl stuff, sat...
I got scared as hell on my first attempt through at top speed/full throttle - I was not ready and drifted up into the middle of the track, eventually I figured out I need to turn the wheel 90 degrees to account for the extra speed and found a line I didn't scrub to much speed ... i never got...
$2k for the exhaust
Pick up in san diego or will ship at buyers expense
Had on for about a year, car is track only now so getting rid of these for something lighter - downpipe does not throw a CEL
Comes with both electronic valves for the rear portion of the exhaust
Will trade for...
lol wtf is this .... just view farming now .... not even a comparison
Question is can this new type-R handle the track in stock form without overheating like the previous generation does
I had the new civic for a year as a family car and it was really great want this type-r eventually
Had a 2022 Honda civic ex that was suppose to be the family car, traded it for a 10 year old diesel superduty for towing my supra to race tracks instead
65 shelby gt350 .... not quite mine but my dad had quite a few old "project" mustangs... - really wish i bought that car from him - never got to see it in person but had the chance to buy it and didn't because i am such a stupid idiot and regret it daily
$500 shipping included - I used this for about a year - still works great and have been using for track data
Removing because I have to deal with regulations that are not really compatible without more hassle that is not worth it
