Will be at the track this weekend testing with a JB4 setup, just driving around putting some time on the car it feels normal did not really set the boost above stock level
Finally got the car running again after 2 months, getting unlocked and tuning with bm3 next just running jb4 for now, installing upgraded transmission and driveshaft - 4-way suspension and more weight reduction still pending....
The eos manifold is so big and nice
Got new manifold installed finally I am so slow when it comes to building this car ... I want to install my carbon driveshaft but still have to change brakes and install vents going to willow springs in 2 weeks ... still no ecu ....
Straight pipe people are covering their ears as I go by at 1mph I never drive on the street holy shit it makes me feel like a gremlin when I do. 100% the best experience on track with a helmet though race car noises go boom
Finally got around to painting the cage looks good enough for now - will be wrapping the car next with some shiny purple and silver race car design ....
I have a motorsports hardware lug nut that was not cut properly on the inside so it just spins when you try to put it on, they replaced it when I contacted them about it - machining issues will happen with everything
EOS manifold, carbon fiber driveshaft, daw turbo w/5in racepipe all in hand and getting installed ... still waiting for 4-way adjustable suspension, transmission and fueling to complete the car
All the various suspension parts are upgraded including solid diff mounts
Chuckwalla Raceway pic
Managed a 1:58 CW
Car dyno was 430whp with the JB4 and e25 but the car just does not pull like it should, I should be passing cars that are a class lower than me as I tail and catch them through corners into the straights I am right behind them and the car does not pull...
I used one hooked up to Harry’s lap timer and it is very accurate when comparing my official times from my transponder when I run both
hassle of getting it ready for track days stops me from using it… mainly an issue with Harry’s lap timer
every part spl has, verkline castor arms, verus solid engine mounts, titanium track exhaust all finally installed
holy shit batman … I drove down the street for a test drive around the shop and set off everyones alarm without even trying
Yea the 295/30/18 RR is what I use - I ordered the 275/35/18 from simpletire total cost shipped was only 760 ... Total savings $500 RR cost me about $1200/set not likely have them before this weekend but will experiment with them next month
