I'm not sure about this, but for ecutek I think you need to own a shop to get their software to tune things yourself. I gather this from going to their website and trying to apply for getting the software.

Twisted tuning sells one to for $75. If you get it in gloss it matches the car perfectly. I have not tried with the windows down doing 80 though.

I have those to and they work like a dream. If you get them in gloss they blend right in. The price is not insane either, but it's more than $10.

If you are worried about warranty I wouldn't change anything imo. Just less to worry about if something happens.
