Ah okay. I wonder if I can call them to place the order and pay in CAD while still shipping to the US. When I try to set the price to CAD and checkout and ship to the US it changes to USD with a terrible conversion rate.
I'm seeing those wheels pop up as $282/each with 5% off. Is there something I'm missing for the $221/each price? I need a cheap set for autocross and I could probably pull the trigger on these.
Yeah it is. Diff is also easy, easier than an oil change. You'll need a stubby 8mm (dbl check me on size) to open the fill plug for the trans. Drain plug is a part of the plastic pan that you twist and crack open.
Out of curiosity, aren't OEM+ and Invoke different companies? In which case why is the packaging from invoke? I thought I remember seeing something about those two companies being mad at each other for design stealing but figured you might know since you bought them originally.
Trans fluid kit with new filter and pan and differential fluid too. You can get both on FCP Euro. Also run the built in oil level check. If it fails, you're going to want to look into getting the oil pump replaced to the newest revision due to the milage.
I ran Enkei GTC02 for a couple years before I moved to XA.
Front: 18x9 +25 - available plenty of places. I got mine from @Meraki Autoworks
Rear: 18x10 +35 - You'll need to special order these. +35 is not commonly stocked or listed by US websites. The commonly stocked offset is +32 which is not...
Could you give a look over my lap and nitpick any improvement areas? I'm hunting the TT3 lap record. I'm about 1s off right now and I know I have .3-.5s to gain in T1 if I release the brake a little faster to make the speed bleed off at a slower rate before I reach vmin. I'm thinking similar...
You admit being a rookie so I think you're making a rookie mistake by overthinking things. I don't understand why Razorlab's list isn't good enough unless you're leaving out information because you don't know you're leaving it out or you misunderstand your needs. "Mine does NOT have the computer...
You can assemble the shock outside the car and install them into the knuckle fully assembled and swing them up into the shock tower by using the fender liner trick I mentioned so you'll still be able to hot swap back in the stock ones.
If you are considering FA510 get in touch with...
FA510 or keep saving your money for a little bit longer. I do personally think not getting camber plates is a massive disservice to yourself if you are getting suspension. I'd rather stay on stock suspension than get anything worse than FA510 or Ohlins.
I would definitely not make being...
I use needle nose pliers and a regular set of pliers. I use the needle nose to fit in the tight spot then push like a lever to compress the piston enough to fit the other set of pliers on the other piston. Then wiggle and push both as needed to push back both pistons as the same time.
Might as well, then you can get them from FCP Euro and start doing the free lifetime warranty thing with them.
Also an update to my PMU club racer saga, after running through my first set my second set seems to be playing a bit nicer.
I had that code pop after I changed out suspension. I cleared it and drove it around so that it cycled and never came back. It should be related to this sensor. Mine looks different obviously because this is aftermarket suspension but you should see this somewhere on your strut. Double check...
