There is a reason all new cars are having their ECU’s locked….and I do believe it is the EPA strong arming manufacturers. Shutdowns of refineries, gas price hikes, the push for EV’s, etc… should raise anyone’s eyebrows on what the bottom line is here. If anyone wants to tinker with their car...

Yup, there are already a few aftermarket tuners who have quite a few years with the VR30 platform (AMS, Z1, etc…) that are dying to get their hands on this car to drop in proven parts.
I mean, Toyota isn’t a champ at it either….and neither are 80% of car makers. With the MK5, Toyota literally did the opposite of Nissan with the new Z. Only three cars I know of that have recently successfully implemented a production car damn near the same as the concept; Ford Bronco, Jeep...
I like how it’s 95% like the Z Proto. I love when carmakers make the production car look almost identical to the concept. Also, the unveiled cars (yellow and blue) looked longer and lower than the proto….which is super nice. Will have to see one in person, but so far…looks the part.
Not really….the Q is much more luxurious and refined. It’s like Toyota and Lexus, people who buy Lexus don’t really care about how much more power the Toyota variant makes vs the Lexus….they want the luxury and refinement. However, let’s wait and see what the numbers will be soon.
