My buddy who works for TMC said they had been working on a manual transmission for quite a bit of time, however, it didn’t meet Toyota’s strict standards of N/V/H and weight. I’m betting they will add more power to compensate for the weight gain, but I don’t know if the N/V/H will get addressed.
