  1. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

@racebuild do you know how much rake the GT4 EVO is running please? Ideally fender to centercap measurements F&R

@kyle9 are you going to try this once it's avail? https://www.spacershop.com/en/product/osgiken-toyota-supra-b58-self-locking-differential/ would love more consistent lock/unlock behavior

two ways to run wet days: Street tire at full tread, to evacuate water Track tires at high temp, to evaporate water A good aero setup can help with the former, on tires without much water sips. it also helps to run massive rear aero imbalance as well, to increase the static margin RC-1 71rs:
  4. Low beam failure on ‘21+?

Started with just the dash error, then actually failed.
  5. Low beam failure on ‘21+?

Has anyone encountered low beam failures post ā€˜20 recall?
  6. Teach me race seats

Yes depends on the type of halo seat. I'm running the OMP HRC, used in the factory GT4. I sat in it at the shop to test, vs relying on internet folklore, and am tall enough to look over the side head bumpers, and have no blindspot outside of the car as a result of it. I can't see a bunch of...

your kinematics need to be reviewed. double check your toe curve on both ends. asymmetrical number of spacers on the LCA? rear traction links at different lengths? asymmetrical shock settings? When was your last alignment?
  8. Remote reservoirs or not

you flatter me! I think the low cost option is to have a race shop familiar with the chassis figure out the damper and spring rate specs for you to start with, then you can skip the low speed compression config trial and error (springs do that for you for the most part). Rebound is a must have...

    it’s just OBDii

opinion of a slow guy: any time I’ve had concerns re brake system performance, I have pulled in vs driving through it, unless it was basically a free track. Usually not worth plowing into someone else imo. I’ve only experienced what you described with previously severely overheated pads, or...
  11. Wireless charger "fix"...for now 🤣

Great tip, how did you pry up the charger please?
  12. Racing schools

quality of the track model really matters more IMO, and you can usually setup a generic RWD GT car in most sims to have comparable relative behavior to your IRL build. i'm currently using rFactor2 for LRP, as i find the curbing and camber scans seem to be more accurate (and realistically...

what's the industry standard for windshield treatment these days? have used rainx/aquapel before, hoping for something more effective:
  14. Racing schools

I used blayze, coach Colin (GT4 champ) helped me knock .8 seconds off in sims in a single IRL video review (i typically see 1.2:1 improvement in sims vs IRL, note it's delta in PBs, not total laptime), but I haven't had a dry day to put down times yet. video i sent in for review (you want to...
  15. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

@racebuild are you aware of a way to increase the strength of engine braking?
  16. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

spacers are a cheap roll center adjustment since most GT4 cars can’t run aftermarket control arms.
  17. Driveway Labs EVS Type Fenders

that I would buy, if you add a little lip to properly support the cut liner!
  18. Driveway Labs EVS Type Fenders

have you considered a 3d printed ā€œinsertā€ , like your diffuser tunnels, that we can cut and install on our own fenders?
  19. MCS 1NR vs 2NR

iirc 1wnr offers a bit more headroom for rebound dampening, but I’m at full stiff running 650/750. my entire setup is optimizing for high speed front grip
  20. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

if there isn't a specific kinematic outcome you're looking for, MCS 1 ways easily gets the job done, for a very reasonable price. it's also using the slightly beefier internals from the 2 way remotes, iirc. spring rate and rebound dampening are all i've wanted to adjust coming from kw 2 way...
