B58 and S58 as they are very very similar. The track analyzation part is platform agnostic, of course.
Dewy goes through a ton of engines so not sure if that is a good benchmark, but to be honest, that is just Subaru life. Glad I left that world in the past. I'm also very biased, as Mitsubishi...
Does your analyzation of EJ257 always end in a blown up engine because that is always the end? ;)
Oh, I am 100% doing analyzation + coaching/suggestions. That just isn't forward facing yet. ;)
There are some hints with bones of it in the app already though:
And of course, the ever elusive...
Great minds think alike, I am working on something similar but a bit different.

Yes, the OTS maps run too much boost for track use on the OEM intake manifold. You will get that limp mode on 93 or Flex if you push hard enough and the ambient temps are high enough. The throttle is also insanely amped up.
At 140F+ IAT, the DME will be pulling a large amount of ignition timing...
I remember when the front of my Supra looked nice and not annihilated. Now it has many track memories of being 2" off peoples rears at 120mph+. Enjoy it being pristine while it lasts, lol.
I'm building out a (hopefully) value feature data analysis and tuning help app and one part of it is lap data analyzation. I'm looking for datalog .csv files from different platforms to test from and support.
I'm looking for:
AIM
Racechrono
TrackAddict
Harry's Laptimer
RaceCapture
Etc.
If you...
I forgot to mention in my post that the other biggest variable is I personally have zero interest in car bowling so I was coming from a normal out-on-the-street point of view.
The actual sentiment of my post seems to have gone over your head though. It's all good.
I'm probably going to go back to straight 75w90. I tried the mix to see if the heavier weight would be better for track use but I didn't really notice any change. So for me, non mixing is way easier.
Here is what I have used in order of history:
1. Liqui Moly GL4/5 75w90 (22090)
2. Motul Gear 300 75w90 (105777)
3. Mix of Motul Gear 300 75w90 (105777) + Motul Gear Competition 75w140 (105779)
I am personally fine with the baby aero because I too drive on the street and to/from the track.
BTW, you can still do dumb stuff with the standard one. Case in point me ripping my splitter off on a train track last year:
Yes. @garudathree did a whole bunch of mods when he had one, including tunnels and extensions.
I personally have dropped mine with spacers 15-18mm and reversed the rake from positive to negative so it actually started working a little bit more than not working at all. It was a noticeable change...
The biggest variable is the driver.
The driver that stays in it with wheel hop, knockCEL flashing, engine temp warning light blaring and just keeps going and launches 20x a day = things break every time
The driver that has brain cells combined with mechanical sympathy, and lets out of it at...
A Ti DP won't last very long. Hell, I have already been through a stainless steel DP.
Also absurdly small weight loss there. Better off spending money on a Lithium battery and saving an easy 45lbs for less money.
