tach going dead has zero to do with all those other things. You have battery and/or wiring issues.
Have you done a deep scan with appropriate software?
if the rpms move and speed doesn't, either you are spinning the tires or spinning the clutch. Or you broke an axle. ;)
My bet is on clutch. Trans doesn't "slip".
None of those would make the car act weird. That whole section is never under positive pressure. The Supra doesn't use a MAF and is basically speed density.
Under vacuum I am sure all those bits seal nicely.
I literally put "out of curiosity" to state I wasn't being critical. GLHF man.
Here, since you are looking for someone to be dickish... People that sign their forum posts with their name have less grey matter than most.
Signed,
A dick.
We are at that part in the timeline that a JB4 actually costs more than a DME unlock now.
Other than (arguable) warranty concerns, it makes even less sense to purchase a JB4 now.
I've been working on a pretty robust web app for tuning and track analyzation. I just pushed v1.0 live today. I will continue to update the experience but take it for a spin!
Check it out here
With tuning currently, every piece of the puzzle lives in a different app, nothing talks to anything...
Motorsports hardware has a hex as well. Same studs, and the same studs you can find on ebay/alibaba/temu. All the same. I went through a couple sets until I moved to Bimmerworld premium and MSI and have since had no issues. Knock on wood.
Not sure what some of you have against the double nut...
You can log the car without a tune. Just pay for the MHD logging license.
Also, for others, taking out the cowl bits behind the manifold creates a TON more room to work those back coolant connections.
This is my M240i, but same same on the Supra
