new issue! whats this code?

i’ve put 50-70 miles on my car today just driving around in hopes to correct the codes but nothing yet..
funny thing is my odometer has registered over 200 miles driven today

Can you actually show this? out of curiosity. Show the math please.

unfortunately i can’t prove anything to you.. i know my trip odo was at 22miles yesterday when i started driving and last night was sitting at like 230ish..

this morning i drove about 45miles/1 way to meet up at bmw… now my trip is 460ish..

but all good! i’ll get it figured out..

If your odometer is truly more than tripling per mile driven, that would be easy to show a video of it happening.

not sure why the doubt on what i was saying? but hope this helps ease your mind

btw.. code cd8403 will cause this to happen with the odometer apparently…

brand new! shows 99% state of charge..
i tried running the car through bmw ista but no luck.. won’t connect to the car..
i have an appointment with toyota on tuesday.. talked to the master tech n explained everything..
he’ll hook it up to whatever toyota calls ista and try to get the ecu to communicate with the dsc.. hopefully it’s just a update to the dsc module!?

you were definitely questioning what i was saying..but no worries..
i actually mapped out a 3 mile route and in the 3 miles i added 14 miles to the car..
so yes the car is tripling the actual miles
but i showed what you wanted to see..
not defensive..
just trying to figure out what i might have done to car..
i figured someone on here might have seen this happen in the past..

just to close this out..
re-flashed car back to stock ( re-locking ecu..ran the car through whatever Toyota's ista is and did a recall update...
but all codes are gone and odometer working properly..
will send ecu out for an unlock and will reflash custom tune when it returns..
