The all-season tire saga continues.
I ordered a stock size set of Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires from Tirerack. The rears (275/35/19) have been delivered. The fronts were backorderd with ETA of Nov 20th. Which then became Dec 10th. Which has now become Jan 15th...
Checking inventory...
I assume the place you're talking about who moved from Woodinville is APC Auto Spa? They did my PPF and have been all around awesome so far, I've been wanting to have them detail the car but they are waiting on some license (for washing) from the city of Monroe before they can start again. I am...
Arguably, it doesn't matter if Toyota makes remote start a subscription... it still wouldn't apply to Supra since the starter, head unit, key fob and even the damn phone app are all BMW anyways.
That said, BMW is just as likely (if not more) to make random features a subscription too. I think...
This is totally possible, as I hadn't learned about proper washing techniques for microfiber until recently. I've since bought new batches and always wash them separate on cold / air dry. I don't recall if I had the old or new towels since I had this issue.
Thanks for all the replies - I'll give this another try with fresh microfiber towels, and otherwise just stick to using a swiffer if its only a bit dusty. I think the towels I used before may have been bad as it sounds like no one else has had the "shedding" issue.
Definitely post back here if you ever do this, I would kill for the sport mode button on the wheel.
I'm jealous of M4 wheel, with its M1/M2 mode buttons - the position of the button in the Supra is kind of awkward.
See title. I assumed everyone just used microfiber cloth for this, but the last time I tried it, it seems liked the "texture" on the dashboard would catch and I ended up with a lot of little tiny microfiber "hairs" all over it. I probably wasn't using top end cloth, but it wasn't bargain bin...
It definitely takes some patience. One thing I did that helped on the 2nd one was to draw some lines on the wadding with a sharpie, which then at least helped me have a frame of reference for how the placement was. Overall, I had a hard time getting it to a point where I really felt confident it...
I posted this question in a different thread, but adding it here to get some responses.
Context: I'm going to buy some All Season tires for the colder months (WA State) and am considering going with 265 front, 285 rear, partly due to inventory issues and partly due to info I've found where...
Thanks for all the replies, useful info.
For anyone running slightly wider tires (265 front, 285 rear) does this cause any issues with traction control or handling in any way? It sounds like you've got to go into the tire settings on the car and either have it re-learn or set to custom? What is...
ProClip here, using a somewhat custom combination of parts from them. I left some details in a different phone mount thread, but will repost here:
ProClip MagSafe Mount
I wanted to have the phone closer to the driver, near the emergency lights button. Also wanted to avoid having the vents blow...
I went with mx+ simply because it seemed to have an overwhelming amount of people using it without any type of issue. In my mind, $30-60 extra is a trivial amount for maximum confidence when mucking around with the electronics in your $55,000 car.
I know some people prefer the wired versions...
Did a quick search on "WA State blackout license plate" and it does appear there is one in the works, but will probably be years before it shows up as an option in the custom plates options, assuming it makes it through the legislature.

Previous car was a 2010 370Z auto.
Don't really miss it at all, the Supra is literally better in every way, other than rear trunk latch button I guess lol.
I suppose I slightly miss not stressing out over potential scratches, dings, where I park.. etc. But that baggage comes with any brand new...
Kind of jealous of people who live in states with either standard or custom plates available that have simple black/dark background color schemes.
Most of the background options in WA state are all shitty looking, or are for some random school / sports team I have no interest in.
