  1. Low oil warning: prudent response?

Dancing is quite challenging for me, but watching swaying hips was nice. No piggyback. Got one waiting to go in, but concerns about oil consumption had me put installation off.
  2. Car buyback - what happens to PPF?

That’s what I assume. I can only hope that, if things come to pass and it is a buyback, the current market value will offset. I bought new for around $49k.
  3. Car buyback - what happens to PPF?

Rather than go off topic on my oil thread, I’m posting a separate thread. Anyway, my car is burning oil. Speculation about possible buyback. Not to assume it’s a fiat accompli, but when a car is bought back by Toyota, is aftermarket PPF costs to the consumer compensated, or would I lose that...
  4. Low oil warning: prudent response?

Argh! I’ll keep everyone posted. I’m quite happy with my Supra and will keep my fingers crossed.
  5. Low oil warning: prudent response?

No oil on the ground. Not a drop. Not tracked. Really puzzling.
  6. Low oil warning: prudent response?

Good question and I should have stated that I did check the level shortly after the oil change. thanks for chiming in.
  7. Low oil warning: prudent response?

On my way home from Embarrassing myself at a Latin dance club, I got the low oil warning LESS THAN 400 MILES SINCE LAST OIL CHANGE. Mind you, that oil change was prompted by somewhat low oil at 2.5k miles. Should I add oil or do I need to let Toyota see it as it is? If I should add, what oil...
  8. Carvana

Only 7 days? That actually seems reasonable. Think about a 7 day test drive. not sure if their prices are good bad, it’s a market good so they can’t be horrible. And what an inflated market we are in. Glad I bought in December. They offered me more than I paid for my car new.
  9. FS: OEM 19" wheels - powder coated satin black /w Federal RS-PRO & TPMS + 1 tire.

Still interested. Just would like to know if the brake dust comes off ?
  10. Praise, complements, and questions - hate isn’t the problem

Had an interesting one earlier this week. At the Chick-fil-A and the attendant guy at the drive through went nuts for the Supra, really quite excited and told me how great the Supra was. He asked about mods and I told him. He followed up with ā€œMy ā€˜99 Civic will still gap you.ā€ To which I...
  11. rearview video monitro

With BimmerCode you can change the speed at which the rear view camera turns off. So you can try it by upping the speed and driving around town. The camera view is also selectable from the parking nanny-button.
  12. Fun stories/comments/reactions with your A90: Funny things said to you about your Supra

Getting him out seems like the real challenge. or did you just leave him there????
  13. All Season Tires

Checked with Michelin and no plans on a 295 R19 all season so I’ll just have to go with 285s if I do decide to go all season.
  14. What did you do to your Supra today?

Good thing cars can’t issue restraining orders.
  15. Ever have someone lean on your car?

I tend to be quite polite, but turn rather uncivil when encountering such circumstances. Usually includes a string of copulatory expletives.
  16. Active Sound Design - Am I the only one?

I added a 15ā€ subwoofer and the piped-in sound going to it that was calibrated to the unambitious stock subs was brutal. Granted, an issue few will face, but that’s part of why I axed it. Fake engine sounds jacked up on creatine and dynamite.
  17. All Season Tires

Thanks for the post and y’all have some kick-@$$ wheels.
  18. Has anyone begun to explore making the HUD more functional?

As long as you’re planning for the HUD: most folks have heard of PornHub, but what about creating a PornHud? Would keep your eyes on the road.
  19. All Season Tires

I think that’s probably good advice.
