The Final Edition that Europe/Japan get is not what the US gets. Appropriately, the US version is going to be significantly cheaper than the Euro/Japan Final Edition.
I attended the Larry Chen pre-FD meet last night where Toyota drove out the Final Edition, but it was dark, so the pics sucked. I just got back from Day 1 of Formula Drift where Toyota has a booth with the Supra out for public viewing. Took a few shots -- sorry they're not the best as it was...
45th Anniversary wing removed, Verus V1X installed in its' place.
For anyone curious/interested -- the OEM 45th Anniversary wing is held down by two bolts on each upright. The bolts are accessible underneath the trunk by prying off the plastic covering, that hides the hatch mechanism...
Makes me wonder then -- if someone were to try and run a wing, say a Verus V1X, where the install requires a supporting plate designed for the underside of the OEM trunk lid... how would it work for the CF trunk that doesn't have the OEM plasitc that most wing kits would account for?
I was looking for some inspiration when I first got my MB earlier in the year but couldn't find any. The car is somewhat modded now, but will be even more so later down the road. I've gotten comments about how it should be kept stock because of the rarity, etc... but for me, the intention was...
I usually leave a years worth of cash in a high yield savings, so I used a portion of that to pay the car off. Didn't touch investments or retirement :) I have good credit, but the addition of the car added to my debt/income ratio so my interest on the car wasn't favorable at all. I obviously...
Decided to the pay the car off. Over the course of the year I've "owned" the car, the interest being paid just felt criminal so I decided to pull some money out and just get rid of this burden of a monthly payment. Freedom feels great. Happy thanksgiving yall.
Thanks!
I have a 45th, but looking to replace my side fenders soon, but also wanted to keep my side graphic. I gave up looking for the part#. And here you are to the rescue -- appreciate it.
A year? Man, that doesn't sound right. Who's your sales liaison? You should probably call the shop and ask for the manager. Shouldn't take longer than 6 months.
I live about 30 minutes from them and recently had their roll bar installed for free (promo for having such a long queue/batch time for locals). I hung out in their shop for a bit and they're legit busy all day manufacturing these things.
Tip; give them a call and let them know you'd like to...
Nope -- the Type 7 has a significantly deeper/bigger air foil than the Type 10. The Type 10 seems to be the popular one among Supra owners, but I wanted the higher DF of the Type 7.
This is the Type 7 (Supra not pictured here, but it's the same wing)
This is Type 10
