I won't tell you what to do with your money, but there's a lot of actual competitive Gridlife and GTA guys that compete in Time Attack that don't bother with a whole kit for the rears. Just pads and rotors, but go full upgrade on the front.
I don't personally own the 9668, but I've driven a Supra that does, and in comparison to the Brembo Pista's I've also used... I honestly don't feel a major difference in terms of bite. However In terms of feel, they're really firm and extremely consistent regardless of where on the track or...
that's not wrong. The rear diffuser would end up working harder on a car with no floor attached. However in totality, a car with a flat floor attached to a rear diffuser would provide more downforce as a whole because air is allowed to travel smoother and more freely at a higher velocity from...
clean and accelerated air out of the rear. The faster air can travel from the front of the car and out the rear, the more downforce can be achieved. A dirty floor and a dirty rear "clogs" up the velocity of air passing through the bottom of the car, which decelerates what's happening at the...
if you're tuning aero to meet class spec, I'm assuming you're referring to the fact that you can't have a full flat floor. Besides how the car comes from the factory and the rear diffuser must start/end at the rear center axle line -- the rear diff area as you mentioned.
With that acknowledged...
It's a pretty basic concept -- the less air that gets trapped in the wheel well, the less drag and lift the car has = more down force. That one singular piece isn't going to give Bryan hundreds of lbs of df but in unison with other pieces that assist with guiding/diverting air up, in, out, and...
Take note of where the circles are on top (this is the location the 45th Anniversary wing mounts to/through).
When looking at the underside of the hatch.
This portion here is removable. Once removed, you can access the holes for the where the 45th Anniversary wing mounts
When you pop the trunk-hatch open, there's plastic liner. That plastic piece is removable. Once you remove the liner the holes you make on the top side of the hatch are exposed so that you can feed the bolts for the uprights/stands through and secure the nuts on them.
I have too many parts in my garage and it's starting to filter into my house. I need to get rid of stuff. Changed my wing out awhile back so those who want OEM fitment and a tad bit more than a duckbill -- the 45th anniversary wing is just what you need.
Retails for $2,650 or so. Can buy it...
Agreed. I know most of the Supra guys who compete in GTA/GL in the California region and none run in any of the classes above street mainly because of the exponential cost when jumping up to the next class. Factoring that rules in Street and below do not allow active aero or dual element, the...
I could be wrong, but I don't think the Orange released in Australia is the same Mikan Orange released in the US for the 45th. Australia and Japan got Plasma Orange, where the US received Mikan Blast. I've never seen them in the same photo though, so I don't know if there's an actual hue...
Sad situation to see unfold. I didn't really know Sergio, but I did interact with him years ago. He's knowledgeable and does his work -- but that's where it ends. Some people are just not cutout to be business owners, like him. They see the money come in and to some of these people, it just...
