Side by side of our 767whp dyno pull with just plugging the log in from the same dyno pull.
Weight is different as car was on dyno so changed weight to roller wieghts and etc. Look how spot on. torque is a tad high. 640 VD vs 620 on actual dyno. But not bad.
as of now, no. And to add to this, we are still running the stock catback exhaust. going to be trying 7300rpm over the weekend. Since i have not been able to successfully pull the stock TCM file off the TCM yet, im still unsure where the trans will force itself to shift since i haven't been...
back to this, yesterday i started playing with raising rev limiter. just a small bump first to 7150rpm and car felt good. going to bump to 7300rpm to see how it does.
thank you. yea, some people like 8 million torque at 3000rpm, haha. That's definitely fine. As its literally only going to help 1st gear from a dig. But racing is done at engine speeds all above 4800-5000rpms in a straight line. However, this graph is not a limit to how fast this turbo...
Installed the Heat exchanger this evening. And i must say, the fit is pretty much spot in. For the most part the only modification needed for this larger core is cutting the tabs off that hold the trans oil cooler. I remember hearing people talk about removing the front bumper was a pain. Not...
Stock plugs at stock gap. or the NGK OE replacment.
Stock plugs are Champion OE245 (RERX4ZWYPB)
NGK replacment are NGK 94201 (SILZKGR8B8S)
we will have stock of the NGK replacement in about 1 - 2 weeks.
the choice for completing the recall is up to the owner. just know there is a chance they will reflash the ECU too unless you're specific about them not doing it.
I wouldn't say "most" tuner can do it. Some can. They need to be able to bench read and bench flash an ECU, so they need tools...
i mean technically the B58 has VTEC. its just called Valvetronic (valve lift) on the intake side. and the Vanos (cam timing) on the intake and exhaust. Vanos does use oil pressure, and Valvetronic uses an electric motor to actuate it. Valvetronic is used in a more advanced way on these engines...
Ecutek does not allow flashing back to stock without losing your flash license. So in the event of the ECU getting a dealer flash or you decide to flash back to stock, you lose your license and have to buy a new one to reflash. its due to how they register licensing with Ecutek This is my...
if you have any of the flashing platforms, MHD, BM or Ecutek, you can connect to the car and get the ROM ID and i can tell you if its one of the locked ones.
i mean, you can try to find someone in AUS to do. not sure who there does. But it takes 2-3mins to remove the ECU to ship. when we...
Stock turbo does not flow enough to support 550whp on 93oct. Even with higher octane non ethanol 550whp is not achievable. High compression engine with a turbo requiring high boost to make 500whp on ethanol mixes is not the best mix for trying that on 93oct.
Speaking this thread and the 2021 Supra. We were able to get some datalogging done on the 2021 so we can compare the 2021 to the 2020 model. I'll be making another thread for this.
