Install is really easy. I haven't published the install yet, but it really takes like an hour or two depending if you get the kit with gauge or the just the bluetooth kit. I should have install up on the site soon. but its pretty straightforward.

factory ECU has boot by gear natively, just have to know how to turn it on. ;) these ecu have a very robust knock control system which has timing count, corrections, dynamic adjustment for knock and etc. widebands are stock.

honestly, any software updates can be installed by yourself with BMW tools. Not hard, no harder than flashing your car. i still think people are making a big deal out of nothing.

Yes to the same power. And the change more than likely came from a uniformity standpoint IMO. I haven't read to far into it to see if this is staying for just 1000units they mentioned. or keeping it from now on. But from a power potential standpoint.... the limits haven't been found on the 2...
