I’ve done TA and also stay out all session long most of the time doing 10-20 laps a session, but wtf do I know since “my logic is backwards”.
Whatever. You do you boo.
“The reason I stated what I did is almost none of us here are running TA at the tip of the spear”
Speak for yourself. That is...
I'm sorry, this is simply not true. Every single driver in the supra track discord would say the same. Every single TA record setting supra driver would say the same. If what you state was true, there would be no reason for people trying to set TA track records to throw stickers on every time...
RT660 was faster because it has stiffer sidewalls and the M2 was 100% stock without enough negative camber for a land yacht that it is... If you look at the data, all the tires with stiff sidewalls did well. Hence why the trash Vitour did "okay". which goes to my other point that tires are very...
Tire tests are bs.
Not saying anything even close to "trust me bro".
Miatas that weigh 20 lbs with 5 hp and twins that weigh 40lbs and have 10 hp aren't even in the same galaxy. Which is one reason I say BS.
Tires are soooo car, setup, driver, track, temp, etc dependent that most tire tests...
Okay. Lot's of record setting TA guys, myself and others disagree with all that as well so... *shrug* I'm not going to argue with you on things I have personally experienced and be gaslit about it. No interest in that.
Heat cycled out and still driveable are two different things. Well, unless...
Why is the wastegate flapper arm top welded like that? None of my Pures look like that. All OEM looking. Was that done outside of Pure?
That turbine also does not look like a 800 turbine. I also didn't listen to video audio so you can tell me I don't have the right context. :)
My Pure 800 on...
Two years? How many events? tread wise most of those look better than tires after one event for me. I would imagine they are past heat cycled out by now though.
You sure have a nack for hijacking threads by putting your self serving videos about something completely different in them. Can you please stop doing this.
I would think you would have learned by now by people basically telling you to get F'd every time you do this. That or you are just an...
I had to ask BM3 to update my V1 to V2 as well and I have a pre 06/2020 DME. I think they do this to make sure the people with the original unlocking method they used for 06/2020+ DME's didn't accidentally try to use V2 when their DME wasn't able to.
I have a supra with double the oem power with 70+ track events, 2,500+ laps and 56+ track hours and the only things that have failed are aftermarket (turbo) or from my own doing: Transmission slipping from running that much power. It's been the most reliable track car I have owned over 20+ years...
The logic also depends on how far the current coolant temp is away from the escalation target. Which is why we are seeing a lot of different starting points of the drop across the multiple logs.
