I noticed no NVH increase that makes a difference with any suspension upgrades I have done. The car is surprisingly chill overall even with sphericals, 650lb+ springs, etc.
More NVH came from the tires.
Motor/trans/diff mounts is where you will introduce considerable NVH.
One thing to keep in mind is it isn't mentioned what temp sensor was being logged (or maybe it did and I missed it), if it is the temp sensor in the charge pipe, it might be a false positive as the probe would get heat soaked being in metal as opposed to plastic. The actual air going through the...
I recommend not wasting money on the front cooling stack heat exchanger and just upgrade the manifold. Wagner and do88 make some good field tested units.
If you are talking about the heat exchanger in the front cooling stack, don't even bother, it barely does anything. If you are talking about the intercooler in the intake manifold... anything but CSF. CSF products are low tier, despite all their marketing.
Charge pipe not really needed with stock turbo. It's not a old crusty NXX BMW.
I ran three track seasons with an upgraded turbo and finally blew apart the OEM charge pipe at 30psi at 6800rpm. Then I went to the do88 charge pipe and have had no issues thus far.
Def take that test with a grain of salt since it's stock camber on a 38XXlb car, etc. That is why the A052 did so poorly, and why the P1 (yuck) and RE71RS did so well. The P1 has a very very stiff sidewall.
In no real world where a car is setup correctly is the A052 slower than all the tires...
Def going to be pace/track/driver/setup dependent but I get about 3-4 full days before they drop off from heat cycling out. The nice thing is they don't turn into liabilities like Nankang CRS do when they heat cycle out, the RE's just get slower.
Day one is magic with the RE's. I constantly...
