Just stop spilner, it will never translate for you. You need to start driving first -.-
Literally every single MT enthusiast who hasn't given up on them will never care how good automatics are. Plus this ain't news, for quite some time now torque converters have been able to handle over 500...
more than double the 86's torque requires a torque converter? Let's be clear here, torque at the wheels in the 86 barely hits 120...I much prefered the equivalent to the torque in F cars comparison..
Meanwhile 460 lb ft C7 gets a 7 speed stick :s
hmm, pander to the instant gratification generation and release something asap or take their time to prove and perfect everything...folks please halp, I'm not sure which is better :dunno:
million dollar question that neither side will honestly admit as they will both claim they've put a lot of work into the project to avoid alienating their fans...reliability will certainly be very interesting to look forward to.
Though it is funny how Toyota claims BMW approached them whereas...
well this was pretty unexpected, I didn't think BMW would want to use anything developed by Toyota on their Z4...imagine, if BMW's engineers were stuck up about Toyotas when this Supra project began, it will be interesting to find out how BWM fans react to the Z4. The redline mystery begins..
how do you define failure....? Matrix/Vibe & the iA have had positive reviews..and how is the 86 not a financial success? In less than 3 years they sold the same number of S2000s sold over 10 years. They still continue to pour some money in the platform even though they really don't need to.
While I don't see any lines you're referring to, I for one don't want more lines, the design should stay clean and avoid hard character lines like the A80 & FT1...I don't think there are any more hidden vents or character lines at this point, all of the renderings on this forum have covered all...
It isn't necessarily how hard you push an engine, it is more a result of the engine's design hence why FA20 has a higher redline than B58 and while you can increase the FA20's redline it won't add any power...
lol I don't think developing an engine and setting it's redline works like that..if only engineers could just pick and choose what rpm they want, then all sports cars would have a redline over 9000
Yes it isn't the AZ6 but it is still an AISIN made box...Honda never had a FR setup prior the S2000 so it would make sense that they would heavily modify an existing gearbox and call it their own.
well considering it is going to be made in Austria at BMW's contractor and it would make absolutely no sense for Toyota to ship parts from Japan think it is fair to say everything will be technically built by BMW...but it still doesn't mean nothing will be developed or engineered by Toyota which...
well despite being the same car, Toyota & Subaru have still invested in many, many special edition colors unique to only one or the other so think that guarantees the same thing with the Supra..
I doubt it even though it is Japan and even though this is a Toyota. They'll get the GR sure, but I bet it will only be the highest trims that get shipped there. We are in unprecedented times as Japan's automakers haven't really had any of their sports cars built outside of their country. The...
pretty sure it is more common that way...think every Japanese & American automaker does it that way whereas some of the Europeans do it the other way..
bruh, learn the differences between FT1 and the MKV Supra..when so many of us complain they look totally different you would think posters here would easily spot the differences by now ^^
....most notably the nose & clear hood...
