it has been suggested but don't think anything is concrete yet. My bet is that it will come albeit not under GRMN as Toyota USA hasn't gotten the Yaris or GT86 GRMN and they are still intent on pushing the TRD branding around...the GT86 just got a new TRD edition for example.
don't really think Toyota is competing against the Z lol, otherwise they would have brought one along during all their benchmarking tests...plus, by only looking at the HP it is an unfair & poor comparison.. If this 4 cyl turns out to be true then I bet it will have a much better torque to...
only applies to the front fake vents connected to the headlights. Those and the ones on the hood would be easy to open up. But the ones on the door and connected to the taillights are totally faux and wouldn't serve a purpose even if you did drill in some openings to the rear wheel wells..
I wanted a true recreation of the FT1 just as much as the next person but I understand what cards Toyota has been dealt with here. I admit that this ended up being not as watered down as I originally thought the design would turn out to be. Obviously specs are still questionable, but at least...
When there are so many more important aspects of the car to be sad about, crying about form over function when virtually all car designers have been pandering to such design languages for the past couple decades is what makes no sense :s the fake vents look good on the Supra which is the main...
...that was exactly my point...if the entire grill opening is not used, why style the car to make it appear like it has a larger one? why didn't they style it to have a smaller mouth? there is no difference here
maybe not fake vents, but there is still plenty of "fakery" going on otherwise explain to me why the grill cutout is so much bigger than the actual open areas of the front end?
they did a refresh on the GT86 with plenty of changes made especially suspension wise and there are plenty of rumors and hints of another go between Toyota & Subaru so why wouldn't this be likely with the Supra? Toyota appears to be quite happy to let other manufacturers/contractors build the...
Why wouldn't it come in the next 10 years? I doubt Toyota would abandon the Supra again after just one generation...I would be highly surprised if they do considering how much they have been talking about having 3 sports cars in their lineup and maintaining a presence in motorsports.
