The transmission itself should be fine. It's been used in a lot of high power builds on the m3/m4's. You may start running into issues with the clutch around that torque level though. The clutch is relatively untested since it's new.

I talked to one of my friends who was at the press event and he said the color wasn't metallic and it's way too red to be fire orange. Based on the pictures, I'm thinking it might be Melbourne red.

According to the internal Toyota docs someone posted a few weeks ago, Stratosphere will be available for 2024. Stratosphere is definitely the way to go. It's so much better looking in real life than photos too.

The 21-22's were already dynoing around ~390whp. The rest of the difference is probably just the fact that manuals don't lose as much power through drive train loss. Having said that, I doubt this car is making 420whp, but I have seen a few manual 23's right around the 400 mark.

Does anyone have pictures on the stockish vs-5rs? They have the slightly more shallow face profile that I tend to prefer on that style of wheels. 19x9" ET25 and 19x10" ET38 are the sizes I'm referring to.

No they've been using CDV's since the mid 90's. It doesn't affect the auto rev matching at all.

Took out the clutch delay valve. As always with BMWs, I just wish I had done that sooner.

We don't have any official confirmation yet, but there's going to be a orange special edition and the yellow paint option will probably go away. Otherwise it looks like everything is the same.

Dawn Blue is another name for Stratosphere/Portimao that was used in other markets. Not sure why a dealer in FL is using that. Hard to tell though. The buyers order for my car had Portimao listed rather than Stratosphere.

Mine (manual 23) is 27 3/8" front and 27 7/8" rear. The autos are a little heavier and might set slightly lower.
