How you like that Golf R? I recently watched the Throttle House video (loves those guys) where they put the new GR Corolla against the Golf R and WRX STI. I was impressed with how well the Golf R did.

Why does that surprise you? Genuinely curious. I know it's a sliver slower to 60mph but I thought it made that up in the quarter.

Run without it! Only thing it seems to do is lower your IATs a few degrees and tick tick tick tick tick. In addition, you can run without a hood too, and people won't think twice if you tell them it's a drift car.

I know this is heresy, but I think this car looks a lot like the current generation Mustang when viewing it directly from the side. All things point to this being a fantastic car! Looking forward to seeing 'em on the road.

I just keep hoping for a GR Tacoma setup as a pre-runner: RWD only, the V6 from the Camry and other Toyota cars, mounted traversely as far back on top of or behind the front wheels as possible, raised by 2in from the current TRD Off-Road, on long-travel Bilstein suspension, larger and better...
