  1. The Supra B58 engine has potential (440whp/460wtq)

I am not shooting the messenger when I say this but how did they prove bhp when the dyno is taken to the wheels? The just added a random correction % to make their claim. The curves don't cross at 5252 and they don't cross in the same spot showing they used different corrections in each dyno...
  2. Toyota "Preparing" Hotter Supra GRMN, Says Chief Engineer

Its crazy how the hood vents and different bumper do wonders for the aesthetics of the car. It really needs the additional vents to balance out the busy side profile of the car. And anything is better than the stock bumper IMO

It's a great motor, I didn't say it was bad. But with all S engines, ownership comes with a price. I believe the S reliability woes don't outweigh the performance advantages of the B58
  9. Toyota "Preparing" Hotter Supra GRMN, Says Chief Engineer

BMW can keep the S55 at that point. B58TU > S55 IMO.
  10. Toyota may build Supra convertible / targa instead of 86 convertible

BMW said Toyota is free to build a vert if they want to, and BMW said they are free to build a hardtop z4 if they want to
  11. Toyota may build Supra convertible / targa instead of 86 convertible

  13. Analysis, Comments & Reactions from the Web about the new Supra

I understand your concerns about this but this M3 isnt even out yet and I would find it hard to believe the Supra to be the first model with that configuration
  14. Front plate placement / Let's see those personalized License plates

Don't need them here in Indiana :headbang:
  15. Analysis, Comments & Reactions from the Web about the new Supra

I agree the interior will never be as cool as the mkiv's. But I have to disagree on driver oriented, instead of airplane cockpit feel they went with more of a single-seat, open cockpit race car approach. If you look at the interior like this, you can see what they were trying to do to accomplish...

The 8.8 inch is the bigger one
  17. Analysis, Comments & Reactions from the Web about the new Supra
