Looks awesome! Pretty much the build I'm going for, something I can take on long trips, and with a few clicks of adjustment, go to the track.
If you're looking for other things to do, check out Verus's turbo heatshield, brake master brace, and diff scoop. That and a front swaybar. I've heard...
I've used the motive bleeder with the bmw/euro master cylinder adapter kit and it worked flawlessly. Makes the job super easy. Definitely worth it in my opinion.
Haha thanks! I will say, @Tunerkits designed the kit based on the Aimgain parts, I have just been tweaking them for mounting holes, fitment, etc so I'm no master ? but feel free to DM me!
No problem! I'm still definitely learning when it comes to modelling. It's been a hell ofba learning curve lol.
So far I've designed an anti-wind buffeting kit that's worked up to 130mph, a phone mount that fits in the same spot as a sport clip mount but doesn't cost $50 ?, and I've been...
Those look awesome OP! I've been working on some parts for our platform as well with 3d printing as plugs for molds (will be posting hopefully somewhat soon). Let me know if you want anything 3d printed to make molds from. I'd be happy to help out. I actuslly 3d printed a very similar Keychain...
Gotcha! That sounds like what I'm looking for lol. I'm still a novice so honestly anything would probably be fine. I'll have to give those a try. Thanks!
I understand CSG is sort of the go to but I'd really rather not shell out $800+ for pads right now. Hence why I was looking at other options. Appreciate the input though!
Hi everyone, I've been looking to replace my OEM pads now that I've had a track day and a few autocross days on them. Overall, they've held up much better than I expected even with my noob-self being hard on them at Pitt race. Recently I've been doing some research into some double duty pads...
Just curious, did you feel like the front swaybar helped a lot with turn in? I've been considering adding a front swaybar but I don't want to end up in understeer city lol
I can echo the others. I took mine to an autocross event yesterday and did a few runs with it on vs off. I noticed IAT and oil Temps were a couple degrees cooler. But yes the ticking is LOUD. Reminded me of my ND2.
Just curious, how does the lip mount to the front bumper? Can you send some pics of that? I'm in the process of trying to 3d print my own (in chunks obviously) using a scale model I found.
Cool, thanks for the input! I think I edited the post before your reply but front driver was actually 0.12 not 1.2 so I think I should be good to go.
Btw I saw you run pocono here and there, will you be attending any of their track sprint events? I've gone to a few in my ND a year or so ago...
A friend of mine lent me his Watkins smart string kit. It was my first time using it so I don't want to say my measurements were 100% but I felt like it was a pretty decent measure. Rear 2 wheels were ~0.1° toed out, front driver side was ~0.12° toed out and front passenger was perfect. I've...
Hey all, I checked my alignment after installing eibach springs and it looks like the rear is very slightly toed out ~0.2°. I understand it can be adjusted with an eccentric bolt on either LCA, but does anyone have any tips? I intend on getting it aligned at a shop but if possible I'd like to...
I don't have any experience with these but it looks like their spring rates are much lower than any other offering and are actually less than stock. That and looking at the pictures, it doesn't look like it comes with any spring silencers.
I just installed my eibachs yesterday and both the front and rear had silencers. Make sure you have the springs fully seated in the cups and check to make sure the swaybar/endlinks arent binding up. I've only driven on mine maybe 20 miles to feel it out and didnt feel or hear anything weird.
I already had it out on track at Pitt Race and a couple of autocross days. Overall I agree, it is fairly capable and with my current driving level I'm sure I cant surpass it. However, I noticed that there was a lot of nose dive and rear squat so I was hoping to dial some of that out. I'd like to...
