I never truly appreciated what actual elitist assholes were until I joined SF and saw how many mkiv owners viewed the world... That's not to say all are bad (certainly not), and these days I actually think it's gotten much better, but man back in the day O_O
I've been around NSX and GTR owners...
Egh, that's way less of a big deal than people leaking photos taken of the car in transit or being prepped for shows.
Unfortunate, but it was probably an honest mistake. I don't think it was intentional because they changed it not long after (dumb when you realize how the internet works).
Japanese made Nissans (Z, GTR, Infiniti) are generally good to go. It's the ones made elsewhere that get a bad rap and rightfully so.
I've had 3 personal friends that have had nothing but issues with Nissan USA vehicles. All 2004-2008 (Titan, Sentra, Maxima) models involving heavy cost...
I'll use the US for example:
the A90 has a target of 12,000 cars per year at peak capacity, with only a fraction of that available in 2019. I suppose "limited" is relative, but that's not exactly my idea of mass produced when compared to other options.
The Z4 is a separate thing altogether and...
^if you genuinely believe that, then you're in for a shock. people do crazy things, and this still has a Supra badge on it. it's also not that slow btw...
now, the real question is for how long, but given how incredibly limited this car will be for all of 2019 and possibly into early 2020, it...
the A90 is projected to sell ~12,000 units in the US for 2020... that is more cars in one year than JZA80, N/A and TT, for '93-'98.
folks are free to debate that estimate, but even if it sells half that, then it will meet the same target in around half the time.
Already is discontinued (MY2017 was it), but yes. They made that ugly thing instead of the S16 Silvia or iDX, and it sold awfully in the U.S. (the market where all the money comes from) after an initial push from millenials. So now they have replaced it with the arguably even worse Nissan Kicks...
Well, I think that's the real issue.
Will it be like Toyota selling a 2JZGE and you can NA-T for way less vs the TT, or is this going to be different enough to be considered a different car like an RC350 vs RC-F.
That said, the regular B58 is pretty damn potent so who knows.
(unfortunately I...
Considering where the standard cars are priced, yes it will likely be about as prevalent as the RC-F Track Edition (lucky to see one even working for Toyota).
In any case, we shall see.
Nah, the GRMN is far more than that.
---------------------------------------------------------------
The I6 is $5k cheaper than the Z4, and it's sold out for a year abroad already, so for now they're good to go.
They may need to drop price when production stabilizes (2020+), but only if folks...
Egh, I honestly have got the impression that (for the US) the cars are all pretty much loaded, at least the I6...
Throw back to to A80 lol.
Just conjecture at this point though. I haven't heard or seen enough to make a judgment or solid statement on that.
