I think if you Gold wrap the aluminum piece facing the engine bay to reflect heat, and use a Turbo heatshield or turbo blanket you will likely get at least a little bit of IAT drop.
But let's be honest it's going to be miniscule in either direction and at the end of the day it's the intake...
Glad to hear someone else say this because after my switch to 5w30 I will swear it runs quite and smoother, but wondered if it was in my head or if others thought the same.
Isn't this the stuff that's got the dye in it to spot oil leaks? (I'm not familiar with it personally, but I thought the green bottle is what that signified.)
FCP Euro liquid Molly change kit with Mann filter. This car couldn't be easier to change the oil on. Dealer ain't touching my car, and not putting anymore of that brown water in it.
Obviously do whatever you want, it's your car. But the only way I'd she'll out 18k on some factory carbon bits if I was going to have them installed and then the car put in storage for the next 50 years and resold for 10x the value when gasoline vehicles are relics of the past and we're all...
None of these videos do the thing justice. It sounds insane in person. I did the aluminum version for exactly what you pointed out which is that the side facing the turbo still isn't carbon in the "full carbon version."
This is like trying to ask everyone which bourbon you're going to drink exclusively for the next year. Everyone has different taste.
I personally owned an M2, test drove an M2C, then bought the Supra.
I believe it's the external BOV that's got everyone cautious. Anyone who bought a $600+ intake knew they were happily buying a noise maker, and now this advertises a no tune needed sequential BOV.
I'm scratching my head trying to figure out how it works as I thought these cars had a BPV and a...
The consensus here has been NO It will not void Warranty, but if your intake sucks in something it wouldn't have otherwise and damages the turbo they can obviously deny your claim.
In short, it's not guaranteed to retain your Warranty but the associated risk is pretty low compared to mods that...
This Ebay listing says 2020+ so I would think it fits both. Is this the only manufacturer at the moment? I've been thinking about getting one of these as the Armaspeed intake could definitely benefit from one.
If you want the Blue, buy used. If you want the peace of mind that only you have driven the car, then buy new.
I personally would buy new, but I don't like the blue so my view of the two is obviously different from yours.
