You probably already do this but as a reminder, paint mark every single bolt/thread. Makes it so much easier to do a once over the car before/after events.
Especially make sure you mark the bottom bolt/thread of the Verkline LCA. The side connected to the hub.
On my Supra I have never smelled coolant unless right after a turbo swap since it's basically impossible to not spill coolant all over the trans, etc.
Ironically, my B48 330i I smell coolant every time I park it after driving it. No leaks that I can find and no missing coolant.
Ended up doing a last minute Time Trial event at Lime Rock with EMRA. I haven't done timed competition in decades so was fun to have some competitive push again. Ended up with a new PB (Barely) and won 1st in class, fastest time of the day and the new EMRA Lime Rock track record.
2nd place was...
I'm not assuming anything since, as you said, I can't tell if you have per gear boost/torque target by a single gear dyno chart. Which is why I asked. :)
If it makes it more clear, this is what I mean by per gear boost/torque target. This is MHD but with BM3 Rev2, it's pretty similar:
I went back and re-read the last couple posts of mine and realized I was coming across as critical when I meant to come across as asking questions and sharing information. Apologies for that.
As far as running lower boost in 6th+, I mean something like this below. Also notice that at approx...
So yes you are running less boot in 6th plus? Not taper. Taper is actually the opposite strategy you want. Boost knows nothing about aerodynamics. Target boost is target boost.
Are you running less boost in 6th+? Because all those line items are the same as me and it started slipping in 6th+ on shift with less torque in the beginning of sessions. Dynojets are the more consistent dynos out there unless it's running some crazy CF factor.
628 is 100% not reasonable in...
How did you not smell that? I had a little bit of spillage when changing my fluid out last time and I smelled it every time I drove the car for two weeks.
