When I was playing around with the VIN decoder, I stumbled upon a few euro 20i and 30i models that had a weird mixture of euro specs and Japanese equipment that could probably explain this
Vins W003500 through W003527 confirm 30i (4 cylinder) models were made for USA

What's interesting about that is the Euro models of the 40i have the filter in the exhaust where as the USA model does not, according to RealOem atleast. If this filter restricts power like BMW says, how would they be the same power level with and without the filter? It would be nice to find a...
I could only find 6 cylinder models. Even the 28 Euro models I found (ending in 1000 to 1027) were 340hp 6 cylinders.
Also, I have not found any Z4 models
I don't see the head casting to be that big of deal, I actually prefer it. Quicker spool and easier to adapt to a larger turbo. I understand why it can be seen as restriction but VW 2.0Ts are pushing 600hp+ and Q50/Q60s pushing 800+ on their integrated manifolds without issues. If you're going...
Thats interesting that they have the vins available for outside apis to decode.

I dont know much about emissions in Austrailia but Id hope you're not restricted to the same standards as Eu lol. 370z's have a 5.2 0-60 so it will be quicker in that regard as well.
Standard B58s dyno near their published bhp. If the 382hp version dynos near its bhp figure, that is not too far...
I agree 100%. Lack of significant upgrades in 11 production years means they are still recouping development costs, this is the caveat to developing a sports car that isnt high volume.
I really have a hard time seeing the 370Z competing with the Supra. Obviously they will be priced differently...
