Not sure it was ever Spring, but maybe I'm not remembering correctly? I do remember summer being an option that was discussed however.
In any case, I only heard that relatively recently (past 2 months or so).
they were supposed to be debuting a crossover concept or something IIRC, but that may not be this year. there are also a few other production updates in the pipeline, but I'm not sure where those fit in to different auto shows.
Production GR cars? All Japan afaik, but I dont think it's a...
... and the plot thickens.
@PerformanceSound, we were just discussing this. it doesn't confirm our thinking per se, but the fact that separate heads are being utilized definitely adds some credence.
Not even close IMO... You have to think about its competitors and what they charge.
I think it will end up being a bargain NSX contender. So, not cheap overall, but cheaper than that.
it would certainly be highly displeasing for several reasons if that was the plan. Unfortunately, there just isn't much of a way to confirm any of it other than discuss possibilities.
I would for sure be excited to learn there was a different motor/head or some level of involvement beyond...
I still have many doubts about that 4cyl car... information was about as scare as it gets even back when I was in tune with things, and it's still nowhere to be seen aside from leaked docs and rumors. super weird.
it's looking like Toyota USA may be optioning the B58 cars out, just like they did with the JZA80 TTs :(
I had been hearing this for a while, but another individual on here commented via PM that the multi-way adjustable seats, nav, and hud are likely to be included at the very least.
actually, one of the latest rumors is that it may ship with 340hp for the first 1-2 years and then get bumped to 385. some of the meetings here in the US had the power level set at ~355hp for US models, but that VIN decoder thing has made everyone wonder what the facts are.
this rumor could...
I have not heard that unfortunately, but that doesn't mean it's not happening. I honestly haven't heard much of anything new the past few months aside from backpedalling after presenting evidence contrary to what was being said.
Motomachi is where the Supras (A80) were made after production was...
my personal opinion is that double wishbone is vastly superior for the reasons listed, but yes ultimately implementation is key.
I will say this though, everyone always parrots that Supras (A70-A80) don't handle well, and while they aren't life changing (in their own time or now) they were and...
I don't mind the side and rear, but IMO the front end is not great. Kind of comical as I could say the same about the Supra, but at least with the A90 I feel it's a bit more palatable (especially with aftermarket options).
Definitely illustrates the differences in where design has taken us as...
It's what I've been told as well, but we saw how the iron block thing turned out and that was directly from one of Tada's close friends. Granted in that case it was just old information apparently.
Curious to see how much of it is true at this point; I hope it isn't just semantics.
I think it's been running without pause, but I could be wrong.
EDIT: I meant the Gazoo Racing WRC platform. I don't think the GRMN road version is running any series...
