Great to hear, with a set of RE71RS + pads the car is going to be a weapon.
I also had a DC2 in one of my past life lol...no torque but an awesome cornering machine even on skinny 195 tires.
What phenoma tells you it’s the ABS if your foot was not on the brake pedal at the time?
Soonds more like VSC was kicking in because your rear tires were not matching the vehicle dynamics the car had expected to receive from the sensors by a large margin so the VSC kicked in.
The culprit is...
OP, boring looking cars need a fancy aftermarket lip. The Supra here doesn't and looks good even without one. A lip is just icing on the cake on this car. A big wing on the other hand makes a big difference.
Get the Supra 6MT new with the full warranty...the M2C without warranty is not a car that I will own. Personal experience - a turbo of my untuned M2C went south and the replacement cost of parts + labour is hideous. The M2C is a great handling car (don't listen to those G87 owners claiming the...
Toyota should have done a timed lap at the Ring as a promotion for their halo car.
It's sloppy marketing in my opinion. They tested and developed the Supra at the Ring, they should have done an official lap time with the development driver.
In retrospect they were a bit half-arse about the...
What does that even mean buddy?
Give me some context here. Do you track 305 on a 10.5 and what is your driving style?
If you are mostly about straight-line then I understand but anything else I don't see how you can substantiate 305 is perfect fit in a scientific way. I run 295 on a 10.5 and I...
Have to disagree
1. 10.5 is the minimum acceptable width for a 305 Advan V601, it's hardly a 'perfect size'!

2. Razorlab is finding even 295 CR-S is too big on a 10.5, 11 is required for more sidewall support

305 is too wide for a 10.5 if you are into handling. Any street legal tyres over 295 is too wide on a 10.5.
Advan Racing GT Beyond has a size (11J ET35) for people who wants to run 305 on the Supra.
It's not the size when people talk about bloated, it's always the shape. One can be bigger but not looking bloated because of the masculinity. The A90 is actually about 2 inches wider than the A80.

It will be great if they can offer a taller uprights option for people who wants a taller wing plus enhanced rear visibility. The wing at its current height (right at the driver's eye level and rear mirror) is blocking a fair amount of rear visibility
I think they did a good job on the A90.
Look at the curves on the body and how wide those hips are. Conjuring up an image of a panther leaping out on a prey. I love it. With the A100 I hope the design language will continue on along this theme.

Count me out on the A100 if they go back to the A80 styling.
In the 90s, A80 is the most aesthetically unappealing out of the five JDM heros- NSX, RX7, Supra, 3000GT and GTR.
The A80 looks bloated and looks ordinary next to the other 4s. I test drove a 280hp JDM version back in 98 and it...
