Count me out on the A100 if they go back to the A80 styling.
In the 90s, A80 is the most aesthetically unappealing out of the five JDM heros- NSX, RX7, Supra, 3000GT and GTR.
The A80 looks bloated and looks ordinary next to the other 4s. I test drove a 280hp JDM version back in 98 and it...
In the context of a regular GT wing level of downforce, ADRO is for looks. I have questioned the height of the Adro wing from the beginning. Itās too low to generate any serious downforce. A pity cause the wing looks good ans is the closest to the GT4 wing that I like
Some background info on Tomei Japan vs Tomei USA
I didnāt know about the product dispute ntil I came across this
https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=134044#:~:text=Tomei%20Japan%20cams%20are%20made,sourced%20from%20Taiwan%20or%20China.
Good, I donāt think even the GT3 has this takeup rate for the manual.
Now the Supra has become the de facto āpurist carā for the enthusiasts ?
GR R&D, itās time to tune up the suspension for a more sporty experience. Give us the S58 if you can or turn up the power tap on the B58
Something to watch out for with Tomei
i was looking at them as well until I came across some reviews on youtube regarding fitment
i would get their Type R version if I donāt daily my car.

For your nanny state (VIC?) the HKS Super Turbo muffler is street legal db wise. Tomei Type D or Type R probably not (even without an aftermarket DP) as they don't utilise any valving.
For even more sounds their dual exhaust is awesome. Apexi N1 Evo has a similar design (but cheaper) as HKS's...
The muffler is different which reduces the db level much more so than the US version
The $$$ way to get more sound is to switch to an aftermarket cat-back exhaust system like the Tomei Type D.
The cheap way to do it is a muffler delete, using straight pipes to replace the muffler (check video...
The Australian version has a different muffler than the US so it is much quieter. Luckily there is no OPF like the EU version which robs even more sounds
If I live in the EU (great roads but shit emmissions & sounds standards for enthusists) wonāt bother to own a Supra, with that Corolla Hybrid...
Anything to do with DP or the Cat is not an option for OP as his Supra is brand new and most likely world want to retain the 5-7Y factory warranty
I don't know why Toyota married their halo sports car with a Corolla like soundtrack...complete fail on this part.
From my research, the cheapest way to get some volumn
1. Mufflers delete
2. Resonator delete
3. Both of the above but this probably will be quite a bit over the street legal db limit
What tyres are you on?
i suspect the tyres have not been fully warmed up and together with the aftermarket springs will make the car quite snappy. If you have power mods then I am not surprised. This handling behaviour happened to every single turbo RWD I have owned that had suspension and...
The fact that they still use oem tyres on the Supra for the test means this test is irrelevant.
No one track their Supra regularly with OEM spec PSS.
Savagegeese track test by a pro driver already shows that the Supra is faster on their track when both cars were on RE-71RS. Mark during the...
