Yea, Lime Rock.
88 db but they have a couple days a year with no limits. That's when all the Cup cars come out. :)
@garudathree blew sound at Lime Rock from his aero, if that helps understand the db limit. ;)
Yes that is basically what I had this whole time, but made by MAP. Same GESI cat though.
I might just bring it to a welder and see if we can fix the cracks.
Back when it was new:
The irony is that Sameh's work ethic moved me to get back to tuning myself. So that was one positive of my Sameh experience. ;)
There were a couple bits of oddities that I had with Sameh's tune that magically all went away when I moved to my own tune. Lightning bolt boost control with PID...
They gave it to you for free, right? They reached out to me in DM’s asking for reviews as a trade for a cam.
So, you might want to mention you got the product for free. ?
What to know is that really the only bolt on difference between the 2 port (2020) and the 6 port (2021+) is the turbo. Everything else is interchangeable between the two, as far as aftermarket parts.
Could be denoting 2 port or 6 port but on the Dinan site it's for every year so that doesn't make sense. It also states parts that would work for both aren't available for the non / version (Like ignition coils). So I am assuming a database error on their part. What other sites have you seen it?
If you look at the dyno chart, it is using STD CF which can inflate numbers quite a bit.
For a car at elevation, it can REALLY inflate the numbers.
STD CF vs No CF:
Yes. The car has been catted for it's whole life. It makes great power and pulls on powerful cars like C8 Z06's with a cat. What does it do without a cat? Smells and sounds like crap.
Nope. I cannot. Strict sound limits at my local track.
Nope, my clothes absolutely stink after driving the...
Found out why my Supra started to get a little stinky...
So I swapped a catless DP on and now it's even more stinky and sounds raspy raspy crappy crappy. Time to shop for a new GESI catted DP.
Why another thread about the same thing?
You need to recalibrate the rack after making sure the front toe is within spec. You can do it with ISTA or the easier way... start car, then turn the wheel lock to lock 4x.
If that doesn't work, then def need to use ISTA to calibrate the rack.
Center point of the hub. The difference in diameter of 18 to 19 will make no noticeable difference. If you change ride height from suspension changes, then yes, because it changes the geometry.
Think about if you drive your car up on blocks. Does it change the suspension geometry? No.
