Yet another signal to never do business with them. Anyone that magically communicates with you after doing something like this after a long radio silence does not get my money.
I agree with pan first but upgrading the cooler doesn't add failure points because the lines and cooler are already there.
The biggest issue is finding a trans cooler that is actually better than OEM. CSF def ain't.
Hey! We met at Lime Rock. I drive the white MK5 Supra.
Everything in the engine bay is the same as all the other MK5 Supras so anything will fit. The ONLY difference is six port turbo (2021+) vs two port turbo (2020).
Exhaust is where it get's a little trickier. The FE has the underside Z4...
Euro version is basically a different car. We do not get 90% of the upgrades it gets.
North American version does have the Z4 bracing, which will create some clearance issues on certain aftermarket exhausts.
North American version gets the 374mm upgraded front brake calipers/rotors, additional...
No need to guess. No need to ask the internet. Def no reason to listen to some of the people that have replied.
Jack car up
Take wheel off
Take caliper off (or take brake pads out of caliper)
Spin the hub/rotor
If it makes a ticking sound or really any sound at all, bearing is going out.
My 2020 would shift around under braking until I went to aero. Then it all basically went away.
Brake coding could help as well. Worth trying before going to aero.
That is because piggybacks pretty much suck and the DME is just pissed off all the time.
The only reason people talk positively about piggybacks is because they are too cheap to spend $1,000 to FEMTO unlock their DME's.
I guarantee piggybacks would be a VERY small market if 21+ DME's weren't...
225F is fine and in the normal range. 190-210 is like normal daily driving. 260+ is when you should start worrying.
The M5 pan with exposed fins helped cooling a bit on my Supra.
What did you replace the line with? The same line? Did you check for obstructions?
I've had the whole fuel system in the engine bay apart. Fuel rails off, injectors out, HPFP out.. and the car started just fine after putting it all back together after a couple cranks that pressurized everything...
Yea it seems so low. There have been GT350's and such that sound EASILY higher than that but never get black flagged, then there is Peter blowing it from the noise his aero made.
It's not like a standard db test that a police officer would do, it's usually placed in WOT sections but the sensor...
