Here are a couple screencaps showing off the gauge cluster/interior. Cluster seems to be the same as the one from the mule spy shots from a while back.
And here are the old spy shots:
I like it! I like that they're moving to a more svelte/slender design for the sheetmetal. Never liked how fat BMWs looked.
It's the same tired old line unfortunately. "Doesn't look like the concept!!!1! I H8 IT!".
With how few cars look like their concepts, you'd think people would expect it...
Yeah, honestly I really liked that render! Best looking bimmer by a mile IMO. I guess we'll see in a couple weeks if it holds up.
Edit: Just as a note, you can see that the Z4 has the same radar/camera system in the windshield as the Supra, which makes sense. Windshield might even be the same.
Sadly Michigan is a no go, car was apparently there for an hour or two, but now it's who-knows-where. I guess I'll have to keep waiting for another day....
The camera/sensor unit in the front windshield of the US A90 matches that of the current M3.
The one in the all the new Toyota Safety Sense equipped cars is slightly different, with the main camera being lower.
I messaged somebody who was there to see what the deal is with the car being out there, if its still there tomorrow and I can get in to look at it, I might drive down. It would be at least 9pm though if I drove now and I doubt they would leave a priceless prototype sitting out at night haha.
I...
So this still has the big ol dual-pipe exhaust, but (perhaps its just the angle?) but it looks like it has a standard diff, no servo mounted on the case?
I think we can finally put to rest that the circles on the bumpers are indeed sensors for parking/safety sense.
Edit: Also the rear F1-style fog light is probably the reverse light.
Oh snap! This actually makes sense I guess, the whole crew is in the US. Akio is apparently at his ranch having lots of fun...
I wonder why Michigan though? Also, I am less than 5 hours away.... :D
