you have to remember a 100k+ car will never get off the ground. Remember the R35 and NSX were both pre-GFC cars - and hence them hanging onto the platform and investment for so long.

Any engineer always wants their next project to be better than the last. Better =/= more capable, better =/= meeting scope of project
I would expect the 86.2 to be 'better' than an A90, but completely different design intent.

- In sport mode vs normal - exhaust flap on RHS - The AU models the flap is always open, regardless of engine mode. (Except on cold start :'( )
