yes. if the mirror selection switch is set to driver's side mirror, the passenger side mirror will move downward to show the ground when you put the car into reverse.
People also forget that the development of the R35 and Gen2 NSX started well before this little thing called the GFC.
That was (and still) had/has massive effects on how vehicles are developed from scratch.
Remember, manufacture and assembly are the easier parts of the process.
Yeah, it seems to be either 'normal position' or 'pointed at ground'
The backfires and crackles aren't the problem - they're pretty good! I just think it needs a bit more volume in general :P
Here's my white A90 with my A80.
I haven't taken pics with the other supras yet as:
a) the A60 is current daily and dirty
b) the A70 is under it's car cover
I'll get some pictures/videos soon of the A60, A70, A80 and A90 all next to eachother.
The common design language is there and pretty apparent when you line them all up.
The car does look kind of bubbly and smooshed in pictures.
In person, it's a lot lower, wider and cohesive. The design language flows a lot better and it's a seriously good looking car. I have always liked the design from pics - but thought it needed a bit of work.
Once I saw the white in...
A few annoyances from me:
Not being able to adjust the angle at which the passenger mirror angles to while reversing. It point at the ground and gives 0 rearward visibility. You can adjust it in the mercedes to be best of both worlds.
... Not quite loud enough.
