Just throwing this out there. I have a 2020 tuned with an ECUTEK on a dyno tune and it's making 420HP/500ft*lbs at the wheels with literally zero mods.
Just adding a flex fuel kit and an E50 tune will likely get you to right about 500, maybe just under.
My next power mods way down the road...
I like the stock ride height, especially for a car that's driven frequently on the street. The roads in the New England really do suck. I'm terrified to add any sort of front lip or splitter even at stock ride height.
When I go to coilovers in the future I'm going with the absolute minimum...
If I insulted your intelligence I sincerely apologize. Clearly you know your stuff.
I am a mechanical engineer and I've worked on sound attenuation devices for supersonic gas flow.
Check out the Magnaflow. It might give you what you're looking for...
That's literally my other criteria for exhaust selection. Must fit with Verus Diffuser, must meet LRP sound requirements.
That said, spending $2500 on an exhaust is not on my priority list.
I hope you understand that without specialized recording equipment it's difficult if not impossible to capture the actual sound of an exhaust in a video. The software in that camera no doubt clipped, filtered, compressed, and otherwise altered the actual sound of the exhaust to weigh it for...
I'm really on the fence between the super turbo version and the twin muffler myself. The super turbo seems more difficult to source, and I've heard it a little quieter with the valve closed which is a good thing in my world. I've only heard the twin muffler version on a dyno IRL, and it was a...
The twin muffler version is also significantly louder with the value open. I'm not sure why the OP refuses to believe that.
OP, it sounds like you've already made your decision.
Okay, I'm really confused here. OEM real wheels won't fit in the front wheel wells because of their offset.
275/35R18 wheels will fit up front on aftermarket wheels with the proper offset.
The maximum tire width you should use on a 9" wheel is 265.
285s will fit on the factory rear wheel in...
OEM wheels on 3.0 Supras are 9" wide in the front, and 10" wide in the rear. The factory 10" wheel won't fit in the front wheel wells. So if you're using OEM wheels you're limited to 9" wide wheels.
I've put 265s on 9" wheels with my Cayman. It works, but they "balloon" a bit. I don't...
The 2nd "muffler" acts like a resonator/damper when the valve is closed. This should eliminate droning, "rasp", and amplitude (sound pressure levels).
The 2nd muffler also has a different internal configuration than the primary muffler and allows gas to move more freely through it when the...
Yet you just can't help yourself to jump right in, can you? ?
You're obviously very biased and political yourself. It's funny that you would try to pull the high and mighty routine here.
