I had Ohlins on my V60 Polestar (OEM Ohlins and 6-piston Brembo brakes) and they were unbelievable. That car handled so well it had no business being a 3900lb wagon.
I think you've sold me on a set for the Supra too lol.
Another internet tough guy. ?
Do you feel better about yourself now for attacking me?
I disagree, but clearly there's some serious fan worship going on with Jesse here.
Like I said, you're all buddies here.
I'm here to learn about my car and making it perform/hold up better on track so I can participate in HPDEs and track events. I spend most of my time in the technical sections because I'm interested in data and results. I'm not here to socialize.
Peace.
I never questioned the merit of your opinion. All I was looking for was some numbers or other tangible results.
I guess you must have felt threatened or something and felt the need to turn this into some sort of dick measuring contest.
Do you want me to comment on all of that? You sell car...
I didn't realize that you were a vendor. Now it all makes sense.
Peace.
EDIT: I guess I need to clarify here. Being a vendor means you're in the business. Mr. DaBears saying something that could be viewed as negative by Forced Performance on a public forum is not a smart move in the long...
?
I made an observation, you offered your opinion. I tried to discuss it with you, but you're not offering anything of substance to support your claim. Now you're trying to weasel your way out of the discussion.
And BTW, yeah, you are defending it.
I just really wonder just how much more power this will make than the stock turbo. $1300 + tune (and possibly install) is not an insignificant amount of money.
Evidence? Source? Or pure speculation?
I was running a FP Green on my '05 STi for years. I know they make good products, and I was very excited at the prospect of running another FP turbo on my Supra.
Sadly this doesn't look like one of their best offerings as it looks like it's just too...
Except there's literally zero evidence that this turbo will even provide a 10% gain.
And BTW, people are hitting 550whp with PI and ethanol on the stock turbo.
I'm fully aware of how to read a compressor map and size turbine machinery there fella.
550 with ethanol is marginally better than the stock turbo, and if that's the case it's not worth the money, period.
