Looks like the car debuting at Goodwood is the production car, so it will have the new engine and small exterior updates.
It will be wearing minimal camo apparently, whatever that means. My friend didn't know anything further.
I have no info on this, but I'd personally expect camo to stay on for now... as to what degree it will stay on, unsure.
very little is abrupt and that's purposeful, so I'd recommend relaxing any sky high expectations. you guys might get to hear the real deal though :D
semi related, but someone on this board actually noticed a small change that was made to the car for the latest revision and everyone was like 'nah, it's always been that way' lol.
not going to say what, but it was comical :D
the Z4 apparently has 380hp vs 365, it weighs slightly less, and Tada redesigned parts of the chassis for BMW... so not all that surprising if true IMO.
My AWD Q50 Red Sport does pretty well at 400whp, despite the 3900lbs, but you're right in that's pretty damn heavy.
The RWD is lighter though at 3700.
Current Z is like 3250 iirc, so I don't think we will see over 3500lbs.
It may not be the M57, but I was told an existing iron diesel block was being harnessed. I was curious about that since they have more or less been phased out, and they replied that is was the most recent one (M57?). Maybe that motor is still made for some export market or perhaps they have...
There is a refresh coming that will still include the same 5L V8, but they bumped power up slightly (wanna say someone mentioned 490hp). It's basically new front end, rear, and I think the trunk iirc.
