Developed by Toyota with consulting done by Yamaha iirc. This is different from from when Yamaha is contracted to do the work in-house.
To further complicate this, the new iron block I6 for the A90 was developed by Toyota with ex-Yamaha engineers working on it (according to Moto-san).
I'm not well versed on the different ZF transmissions, so it's interesting to hear the differences you have laid out here and previously. I'll make it a point to try and get more info on the specific version being used.
BMWs recent business case is building cars with as few options as possible according to someone close to the project. Anything that means they can spend less time making customized vehicles more or less. Instead they rely on packages as I understand it. In other words, here is option A,B, and C...
I dunno. They did that because they widened the front hourglass to be as massive as possible, and I feel its a bandaid feature as a result.

Saw some photos from another individual that attended. Looked as though it had a floor/firewall mounted clutch master right above the pedals, unless it was a junction box...
Not sure honestly, but anymore they try to incorporate global design elements into cars so that specific market changes aren't needed.
So the headlights are likely ready to go, at least the ones seen on the latest cars (i.e. Goodwood production proto)
I kind of figured they would keep key items underneath away from prying eyes, passively or actively one way or another, but I think this is still valuable information for sure.
