I'm being careful because the truly fast DCTs are still superior, but that's a good point nonetheless. It is indeed faster than many other DCTs, hence BMW among others replacing theirs with the ZF.
Well, they are sort of an odd company that way too because they actually keep a larger inventory of parts than any other Japanese manufacturer, or at least they did up until a certain point.
Nissan discontinued a decent amount of the parts on my previous car 3-4 years after it was out of...
yeah, they've done their best to at least make the car unique (albeit with the parts bin here and there), so I would be shocked to see a standard bmw cover, let alone on the new iron I6.
I tell everyone now, just buy a mint example, usually newest you can (even if it's a bit pricey) because it's so worth it to not have to track down and pay for discontinued parts.
I'd never do another A70 restoration, let alone now that even more stuff is no longer available new. What a...
both really, production ready cars being used for an event, perhaps tested some more, and then checked for any issues/needed fixes and on down the line.
isn't that actually a standard B58 cover seen in more than one model? Google seems to think so, but I'm not knowledgeable on BMWs.

yeah, Nissan has always cared more about heritage, and that saddens me honestly...
I don't see Toyota reproducing any parts for us at this point, granted it was Nismo that pushed for that at Nissan.
I was thinking about it, and I wonder if the reason the car has some older tech (some posters were saying a generation behind) is because they used an older ECU architecture that has had more time to mature in the aftermarket.
Pure conjecture here, but I'm curious. This is something I have...
All of the current cars with camo were built by hand according to Tada, but I think we start getting production ready test samples soon? It may have already started, not sure.
Tada tries to just focus on what he's doing, but the negative opinions can and will affect sales and perception on release, and this is a car we really hope will succeed so that other versions can be made (maybe V2).
It's what doomed the new NSX along with its crazy high price. That car was...
It would be awesome if things were planned that way and/or officially done so lol... instead, it's Guff, myself, and some other free agents fighting against an angry mob.
