yeah, ford said that they felt aluminum was not a sufficient material by itself when using forced induction. I actually like Ford quite a bit, at least WAY more than GM and FCA.

Tada has already gone around and consulted some of the aftermarket, and he will likely go even harder on release. Part of the reason the ZN6 had so many parts available right around launch was early access and support from Toyota.

well, the mules were white underneath, same for GRMN, and the Goodwood car is white underneath as well. so yeah, why not.

You can just sleeve the block/build the bottom end like GTR owners do, but yes that's part of the reason for the new motor. So you can have faith in the motor the car comes with.

yeah, i think that comment about the door vent and brake cooling might have been a mistake and he was instead speaking to using the front and hood vents which make far more sense. But I wasn't there and i don't really rank confirmation on vents as high on my list lol.

cant comment on the engine thing, but I feel it's a much better direction for purists, although that was self evident im sure.

yep, exactly. Shibetsu, wind tunnels, and other more shielded areas provide plenty of data to make necessary changes and improvements. There are still plenty of components that need to be tested in the real world though, so you usually get that at some point depending on what it is.

the most advanced versions/secret variants of this car have been testing at Shibetsu afaik. that said, they generally road test them all within the confines of information security etc.

the motor sits far back in there for sure, but thats interesting on the side vent thing. I haven't asked about it specifically, but the pics sure seemed to show a closed off vent... that, and he said the front ones are closed but can be removed by owners. odd...
