I think most of the actual Supraforums guys already hate this car, so this forum probably will be the spot. Most OGs just want a Toyota Hellcat, which is fine, but they'll never get it. :dunno:
Yeah this sounds like somebody is doing some roofing in the background.
The S55/N55 is just too old and too poorly designed of a motor though. The B58 was created as a clean slate to fix the issues that the old motor had (which was numerous). Rear main, oil filter seals, leaky oil pans, bad...
No worries! Let me know if y'all want to see other colors. After watching the YouTube tutorial on how to do this, I feel like a photoshop god with no limit to his powers. :slap:
Oh sure, a driver's cockpit is a given. I meant more in terms of material choice, patterns, and color options. Most BMWs are black and boring, with the occasional smattering of carbon fiber. Plus I hate their gauges, always have. Even with their fancy screens.
Have you guys seen the new Avalon interior? That shit is mint. Basically a slightly lower spec'd Lexus interior.
If we can even get a little bit of this I'll be happy. But as @RyleyMA61 said, as long as the seat, driving postion, steering wheel and tacho are nice and in the right spots...
Here's the rears. Little rough around the edges again. Tried to fake a metallic using some gaussian noise for the green and anthracite but it's nearly impossible to get it to look proper using such a simple method. Colors are the same (er... close) to the front views.
Here's a bunch of photoshops of various colors. Not the best, but I'm bored and this is the extent of my photoshop skills lol. Tried to hit the MKIV classics, Ren Red, Jewel Green, Anthracite, and RSP, as well as BMW Laguna Seca Blue, Atacama Yellow, and just black, since that was requested.
HQ is less than five minutes from my parents' house actually. I'm hoping to be able to visit the HQ sometime in the future, it looks pretty rad. Not to mention, they're moving the museum there as well.
