My apologies, that was not my intend. I just assumed everyone understood what I meant because that was all people talked about in the stateside thread.
My vision is fine just thank you ;)
At the end of the doors they both curve to meet the quarter panel. Sure there are still differences between the two, but thats why I said similar.
So my other thread about a mule being spotted in the States got way off topic. So lets have a dedicated thread on the matter. Below are two possible and realistic examples of how I think it can turn out. Which one do you guys or gals prefer?
Please also vote in the poll. Toyota does monitor...
I think it will be a little less tall/bulky looking when the camo starts coming off. The BMW with less camo doesn't appear to be as high as the Toyota mule.
All this back and forth of an intake when there might not even be one. Can someone make a rendering without intakes by the door? I'm curious to see what it would look like. :hmm:
From that angle it makes it look smaller, but from a straight side shots it looks like it is about the same as the current Z4.
A good source has said those side skirts aren't the final design either. If you do a zoom up on the more detailed photos it looks like the lines/gaps are cause by the...
^That would explain why there is a panel drilled into the side of door. I think it is a good compromise of the concept's styling cues mixed with the prototype's lines and proportion.
I can also see where they drilled a panel on, but I'm having a hard time imagining a duck there with such a small space between the door and wheel arch.
One can only hope. I think the base model will use the B58 while the top of the line one will be fitted with the revise S58.
Unlike with the Z4, Toyota should definitely forgo the 4 cyl version.
