  1. BMW model codes include Supra (J29) with auto transmission, 4 and 6 cylinder engines

Yes, but the Soul came to market one year after the recession. It's sales pretty much grew year after year while the xB kept tanking. I still think people didn't buy it because it was ugly :dunno:
  2. BMW model codes include Supra (J29) with auto transmission, 4 and 6 cylinder engines

Looks are subjective, personally the 2nd tC was ok. It wasn't fugly, but at the same time it wasn't good looking like the first gen. However, I never liked the xB replacement. Its just not me; back in the day at Toyota/Scion meets the xB owners I spoke to were disappointed about it's successor...
  3. BMW model codes include Supra (J29) with auto transmission, 4 and 6 cylinder engines

Yeah the first gen tC and xB were great. I think another issue was the price got a little higher over time and the replacements for the tC and xB looked like :puke: Yeah I was going to say the same. They just need to reskin the Crown. http://www.supramkv.com/threads/no-hybrid-supra.616/
  4. BMW model codes include Supra (J29) with auto transmission, 4 and 6 cylinder engines

I am aware of the S model. But I was referring to the base model which the 4 cyl Toyota could compete with. They have hinted at $50k. No arguments there; you're preaching to the choir. You may want to pass that message along to Tetsuya Tada and Akio Toyoda. Yeah we have a good pick of engines...
  5. If not the New Supra, then what?

I don't think Mitsubishi has the cash to do another GTO. Last time I checked the company as a whole isn't doing so well. They need to work on their main line up before even thinking about making a low volume niche product.
  6. BMW model codes include Supra (J29) with auto transmission, 4 and 6 cylinder engines

The chief engineer said in an interview that the competition will be the 300hp Cayman priced at $55k. In the same interview he complained about how the Cayman now has a 4 cylinder, but than they do the same to their flagship sports car. :what:
  7. If not the New Supra, then what?

The next Z. The top of the line model is rumored to have 400-500hp with a $50k price tag.
  8. BMW model codes include Supra (J29) with auto transmission, 4 and 6 cylinder engines

    I wonder how Toyota will convince people to buy a $50k+ 248hp 'Supra' over a $55k 460hp C7.
  9. Lets talk about a side air vent/scoop/intake

Sure @HKz, lets just agree to disagree and move on
  10. Lets talk about a side air vent/scoop/intake

Honestly I don't even know. You seem to ramble on about every and anything. Could have fool me, its like every other week or so you go on an anti rant about this joint project. To be honest I'm not 100% sold either, but I'm trying to remain open minded and optimistic about this whole thing. I...
  11. Lets talk about a side air vent/scoop/intake

Than why are you so up in arms about a BMW chassis in the first place? It is actually lighter than the M4. I wouldn't care if it is around the M4's weight. In my book anything is better than the 2 ton + LC.
  12. 2019 Toyota Supra Prototype Reveals Production Intent Design/Parts

How dense can you be? Anyone with common sense knows he is referring to the car that is currently testing, and obviously not past Supras. And you still haven't answered my questions about next weeks lottery numbers.
  13. Lets talk about a side air vent/scoop/intake

It does appear to be similar in size to the MK4. The only thing I can compare it to would be the Z4M coupe which came in at 3,230 lbs. The new CLAR platform has shaved off weight in BMW's newer models. Also BMW has done a better job at keep weight down than Lexus. Look no farther than the M4 vs...
  14. Lets talk about a side air vent/scoop/intake

In the beginning I was just like you. I had real high hopes of them pulling another 'LC'. Than the mule and prototypes were spotted, and that is when reality hit. I'm not going to lie. I was a little disappointed at first. Than people made renderings base on the prototype and IMO they didn't...
  15. 2019 Toyota Supra Prototype Reveals Production Intent Design/Parts

One bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch. Most of the people on here are good guys. Besides, every forum needs a troll.
  16. 2019 Toyota Supra Prototype Reveals Production Intent Design/Parts

Dude, you either have x ray vision to see through the camo panels or a crystal ball that lets you see into the future. If it is latter please PM me next weeks lottery numbers. K, thanks
  17. 2019 Toyota Supra Prototype Reveals Production Intent Design/Parts

You do realize it isn't uncommon for prototypes to have unfinished head and taillights...
  18. Lets talk about a side air vent/scoop/intake

I think people just expected a little to much after seeing the concept. I bet if they were to make it pretty similar to the FT1 it would have cost somewhere between the $375k LFA and $92k LC.
