It's been all but confirmed that for true, reliable, long term strength, that an iron block has been chosen from the bmw range. Yes the newer aluminium blocks are fantastic - new RS3 engine anyone - bit for long term reliability and strength the best option is old school.

I'm hoping the sz-r and RZ have the same engine, only difference is trim and luxury stuff. So much easier to add power than pull weight without compromising the vehicle.
