It's been a decent money pit over the years! Has a built 7MGTE, 57mm CT26, 330mm brembos, custom coilovers and rear suspension, full TechnoToyTuning catalogue, (the original) 5 stud MS65 Crown hub upgrade, 16" Starion widebody wheels, IS200 diff upgrade, lots more stuff I can't quite remember...
+1 for Haltech.... for the money, the E2500 has better features than the M800 Motec. A friend sold his and got the E2500.
I have a PS2000 on the A60, PS1000 on the A70 and E2500 on the A80 - I am a big fan. The engine protection and logical operations are fantastic - not to mention the wiring...
Not a Toyota fanboi, just believe that a giant car company knows more than a bunch of internet nobodies. Myself included. They know what the A80 means to people.
and I know, first hand experience, that 9/10, the Germans do things right. Give them a design scope, it will be met. The A90 engine...
FWIW, the current 918 cayman S is sniffing flat 4s to 100kmh, and the A90 is meant to have similar (if not more) power and 100kg less... forum insiders quoted this somewhere in another thread
Sadly, 2UR is dead.
EURO emissisions standards mean high compression, high revving (and therefore high output) Naturally aspirated engines are a thing of the past.
RIP M156, 4.0 V8, 2UR etc....
It sucks, coz N/A is best.
NA makes zero sense. won't meet euro emissions laws AND make decent power.
forced induction is the future for power and emissions.
Assume two trims - 55k turbo and GRMN version (unknown)
if the costs of integrating a 6MT into a BMW based platform are too prohibitive, to integrate a toyota engine into a BMW based platform would be extreme.
plus tada said I6 is mandatory for a supra.
that is an old mule with heavy cladding on the front
this is the racing concept, with GT3 items removed. it is a screenshot from GT sport (which has an accurate 3D model of the GR concept)
